Discovery Place in Charlotte

Mommy and I tagged along on daddy's business trip to Charlotte this past week. We stayed the night at Aunt Lois's and Uncle Ron's. It was alot of fun. Mommy took me to the Discovery Place museum in Charlotte. I told mommy it was a beautiful day. We first went into the little kids room and I played a little bit in there and then we explored the rest of the museum. There were a lot of cool exhibits. They had a dinosaur exhibt that looked and sounded real. I was too afraid to walk the whole path because the dinosaurs were moving and making noises! We also saw a puppet show about dinosaurs.


This is me doing the weather report. I stood in front of the blue screen and looked at the camera and then it showed me on t.v. saying the weather report!




They had this really cool circus exhibit. This is me trying to fit in the box. I did it with ease. Mommy did not!!


This barbell was REALLY heavy!!!

I even got to try juggling! That is not as easy as it looks! They also had a high wire that you could walk across and an acrobatic bungee thing but you had to be seven years old and I am not yet!!

We also saw this "experience" show where this guy was playing with fire. He put this liguid that looked like water in a huge water jug and then put a match in it and it made fire in there and made a BIG noise! I jumped and told mommy, "that was so not cool....Let's go!" But mommy made me stay and I was glad that we did. We got to see a man light bubbles on fire!

Daddy's Birthday at Myrtle Beach

We took daddy to Myrtle Beach for his birthday. It was so much fun, the weather was beautiful and suuny. Our hotel had an indoor waterpark and I had so much fun. The first day we played in the lazy river and I went down the waterslides. Then we got dressed and took daddy out to dinner. Daddy wasn't feeling well but he picked Red Lobster anyways and he had soup while mommy and I had shrimp and crab legs. Mommy felt a little guilty but I didn't. Then when we came back to the hotel daddy went to bed, he had a fever and mommy and I went to the other water park. They had two REALLY big waterslides. Mommy and I went on the corkscrew one and that was a lot of fun. Then I wanted to go one the really tall one that had two big hills. Mommy said that one scared her and she didn;t want to go on that one. I went ALL By MYSELF! Mommy said my face at the end was priceless. She said my eyes were so huge. I got off and I told her, "That was so NOT COOL!" The next day we went to the beach and laid out our blankets. We flew a kite and then daddy and I made a sand castle. It was so much fun being there. I am glad that we took daddy to the ocean forhis birthday. I told mommy I wanted to go to the ocean for my birthday too!

Bowling

We had a playdate at the bowling alley on Saturday. I kept telling mommy that I wanted to go real bowling! It was a lot of fun. Daddy bought me a cheeseburger and fries and I had fun with my friends. I think that our scores were better than our parents! Mommy thinks next time that maybe we should have a playdate with a sitter and the adults can go out and try to get better scores!!!

Girls Night Out at the Hurricanes Game

Mommy, Nicole and I went to the Hurricanes game last week. We had so much fun. Mommy got a hockey stick and I made her put the flag on our truck. Nicole and I enjoyed yummy hot dogs! We were so close to the ice that we heard all of the thuds and got to see the glass shake. There was this guy who told me that I should be on the camera and then I think he really liked Nicole! He kept trying to shake her hand!! It was a good game and my team won because # 12 Eric Staal scored the last goal!!
