Hocking Hills State Park-Memorial Day Camping Trip

This weekend we went camping with my family from Michigan. I had so much fun. I told my mom, "I just love hanging out with my friends!" Everyone was there; Grammy, Uncle Scott and Janell, Aunt Barb, Uncle Jake, 'Cole, Jamie, my friend Brenda and the boys Ryan and Aidan. I had so much fun, I went hiking (over 3 miles!), skipped rocks, went canoeing, ate s'mores. We had a fire in our camper, mommy had to blow it out. It was so funny! (Not Really) It was beautiful there. I cried for over 30 minutes non-stop moaning I want Grammy. I miss my Grammy when we left on Monday. =(

Here I am in Aunt Barb's van, laying on the bed. This is me, mommy and Aidan (my 2nd cousin) inside a rock house. It was so cool in there. It was dark and very slippery in there.

Daddy took this picture of me when we went hiking to the falls. We saw a lot of butterflies and tadpoles on our hike.

Going to the Races

Mommy, Daddy and I went to the Nascar All Star Race. I was so excited to see Jimmy Johnson, though it was really hard to see him in his car. Daddy got me some special "ear pluggers". I was so excited to go to the races. I watched Lightning McQueen on the way to the race. They go so fast and there was fire in the sky (fireworks). I had a lot of fun.

A Fun Weekend

Mommy took me to Downtown Wake Forest yesterday for Meet in the Street after dance. We first went to see Miss Paige at the book sale and she had saved a book called Emily goes to Dance for me. Then we went to the festival. We sat and watched all the girls dancing. There was this one act where "the boys were there and there were girls all around them and then the girls just lifted them up like this..." This was my favorite part of the day. Then I got my face painted, I picked a rainbow. Then we went and ate at Shorty's famous hot dogs. See me below enjoying my hot dog! I got a braclet, a balloon, I made a visor with one of mommy's students. I also got to ride in a fire truck. It was a great day. This is me eating my yummy hotdog. We sat right at the counter, I have never did that before.

Today mommy, daddy and I went for a paddleboat ride. We tried to see turtles but our boat scared them all into the water. Then we went to the park and played for a little bit. After that we went to daddy's cousin Lori's for lunch.

Some Sad News

Well we didn't get to keep Pongo. After a few days mommy and daddy said that we have to give him back to Alisa because my eyes were too puffy and I am allergic to him. They were afraid of that. We had fun with him while he was with us but we are going to stick with my fishies named Oscar (all of them).
