A Fun Weekend

This weekend our friends, Kari and David came to visit from Illinois. We had so much fun. We went to the ocean on Saturday. Then we went putt putt golfing. It was a lot of fun.

A day at the park

Yesterday daddy, mommy and I went to a park downtown where you can ride a train, go paddleboating, ride a carousel , and rides these little boats. We had so much fun. After the park we went downtown and had lunch at an Irish pub. Then we went across the street and they had a jumping ride and a huge inflatable slide. Mommy and daddy were so proud of me because I climbed all the way to the top and slid down, very fast, I might add!

We have had a busy week this week. We came home from the ocean on Monday and then daddy's cousin Bryan and his wife Lori came to visit us Wednesday night and they left early yesterday morning. They think that they might want to move down here. So mommy and daddy's other cousin Lori showed them around. We had a big dinner here on Thursday night and I got to meet another one of daddy's cousins, his cousin Ben. He came over with Lori (Loralei as I call her) and his fiance Erin. I liked Erin, she was a lot of fun. I showed her my new bedroom and she pretend painted my toenails. I did hers too!

Today we are hanging out at the pool. I was showing daddy how I can blow bubbles under water. I am getting so good at swimming.

Our Trip to the Ocean

This weekend we went to the ocean with Aunt Ella, Uncle Henry and Jamie. We stayed in their trailer. We had so much fun. We went to the ocean and played in the waves. Daddy had fun body surfing. We took a ferry to Shakleford Banks and found some seashells and walked along the beach. The waves were really big there. I had fun playing in the waves and playing in the trailer.

Swimmin at the "Cool"

Today I went to the pool, again, with mommy and daddy. Our neighbors were down there, we had so much fun playing in the water. I am getting so good at swimming. My mommy has been taking me to swim lessons this week. I am learning to swim using "scoops" I am also using a kickboard to help me kick.

Daddy meets my new baby cousin Jorja

My daddy had to go to Michigan for a business trip last week and he was able to go to see my cousin's Cass and his new baby sister Jorja, Uncle Jared and Aunt Tina. Daddy was lucky that he got to see Cass. I won't see Cass for a long time because he is moving to Utah.

Bike-A-Thon

I was in a Bike-A-Thon at school back in May and I did the most laps in the 2 year old class! I did 26 laps!! We raised a lot of money for St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital. Don't I look so serious raising my hand to say I understand the rules?
